Can I be reimbursed by my health plan/insurance?

As far as we know, you cannot, but you may ask your health plan provider. Med and Beyond does not work directly with any health plan.

Do I need to create an account to see a doctor on Med and Beyond?

You need to create an account before you can see a doctor on Med and Beyond. The account creation process is simple and takes just a few moments. Once your account is created, you can log on to your mobile app using the same username and password.

I forgot which email address I used; how can I recover it?

You can call our customer support team; they will be happy to assist.

I forgot my password; how do I change it?

It happens to the best of us, you should go to the Med and Beyond App and click “reset password”.

How do I provide or update my billing information?

How do I schedule a video visit?

Once you have finished our medical questionnaire, the schedule will appear, and you will be able to choose the appointment that best suits your needs.

Can I add my spouse to my account?

Can my kids see a doctor on Med and Beyond?

Children, under the age of 18, may be easily added to your Med and Beyond account. You can contact our customer support representatives for more information

How do I get ready for my video visit?

Once you schedule a video visit, you will be asked to test your audio and video quality. If both are functioning properly, your cell phone has passed the test and you can proceed with video visits.

What should I do if I need to reschedule a visit?

You should login to the Med and Beyond App and click “reschedule appointment”.

How will I know that it is time for my video visit?

You will receive a notification within the Med & Beyond app when it is time for your visit. On average it will take the doctor 1-3 minutes to join the visit.

Is my information safe?

Yes, your privacy is one of our top priorities.

Do you share my information?

Who can I contact if I wish to delete or update my information?

You may contact our customer support with your detailed request.

Can a doctor on Med and Beyond order lab tests for me?

The doctor at Med and Beyond can recommend labs, if they feel there is a medical necessity. The lab referral form can be brought to any private laboratory at the patients’ expense.

Can I get a sick note or doctor's note from Med and Beyond?

Yes, it is possible to receive a sick note at the discretion of the med and beyond physician.

What should I do if I am experiencing a medical emergency?

If you think or have any doubt that you are experiencing a medical emergency, you should immediately seek emergency care by calling 911, or any other emergency service.

How long is a video doctor visit?

The length of the doctor visit will depend on the nature of the complaint and treatment needed. We know your time is precious and we aim to be as efficient as possible. The average visit is usually a few minutes.

Does the doctor review my medical history before a visit?

Yes, the doctor will review the information you have filled out on the application and review the information you provided on the chat bot.

Can the doctor solve all my medical issues?

Telemedicine is great, however some medical issues cannot be resolved on a tele- health video visit, due to limitation inherent of such visits. The Med and Beyond physician may need to refer you to another physician.

How do I consult with the same doctor again or after some time?

We are not able to guarantee that you will see the same physician again; each physician will have access to all the information from your previous visit.

Can a doctor on Med and Beyond prescribe medication?

Yes, the Med and Beyond physician can provide a prescription online, if they feel there is a medical necessity. However, there are several exceptions, depending on your medical condition and the type of medication.

Can I get a new prescription or refill a prescription through Med and Beyond?

Yes, the Med and Beyond physician can refill your prescriptions. Our chatbot will help guide you through this process. You will need to see the physician for a video visit in order to receive the prescription.

Can a doctor on M&B refer me to Imaging or medical specialist?

The doctor at Med and Beyond can recommend you see a specialist or recommend imaging, if they feel there is a medical necessity. Med and Beyond does not provide imaging facilities and does refer you to a specific specialist.

Will my primary care provider (PCP) be notified about my Med and Beyond visit?

At this point in time, we do not have direct contact with your family physician. If you have a family physician we always recommend informing them of your visit and treatment.

What if I have replied to a question incorrectly?

Mistakes happen. Please inform the doctor which answer was incorrect and provide him or her with the correct answer.

I started answering the questions and the system abrupted, what do I do?

We apologize for the inconvenience! In the rare case that this occurs, please answer the questionnaire from the beginning.
